Gate systems shall be manufactured from solid, rough sawn, #1 common Western Red Cedar.

Single leaf systems shall consist of a three piece unit: Support post, gate leaf, and hitch post.
Double leaf systems shall consist of a four piece unit: Two support posts and two gate leafs.
Support post measures 10” X 10” X 8” with top edges chamfered 1” X 45º.
Gate leaf shall consist of an 8” X 8” vertical member and 5” X 6” horizontal/diagonal member.
Hitch posts shall measure 8” X 8” X 8” with top edges chamfered 1” X 45º

Hinge and latch assemblies shall be constructed of electrically welded steel, hot dip galvanized after fabrication.

All fasteners shall be hot dip galvanized.

Stain finish shall be specified; Clear natural or dark brown Woodlife® preservative
